The research \npublished in the journal<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jama\/fullarticle\/10.1001\/jama.2019.15105?guestAccessKey=58f15a95-b9f5-482c-82d5-0faa969c1ceb&amp;utm_source=For_The_Media&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=ftm_links&amp;utm_content=tfl&amp;utm_term=111919\">JAMA<\/a><\/em>\n showed half of states have no limitations on the rights of institutions\n to refuse to terminate pregnancies in such circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>         The study was prompted in part by recent lawsuits against  Catholic hospitals that refused abortions to women having miscarriages,  study author Professor Nadia N. Sawicki, Co-Director of the Beazley  Institute for Health Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago School  of Law, told <em>Newsweek<\/em>. . .
