\n The head of the Alberta Medical Association says a private \nmember\u2019s bill introduced last week that would protect the conscience \nrights of medical professionals is \u201cunnecessary and inappropriate,\u201d \nwhile the bill\u2019s sponsor and the province\u2019s health minister doubled down\n that access to health care wouldn\u2019t be affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Christine Molnar, president of the Alberta Medical Association (AMA), wrote to Health Minister Tyler Shandro on Wednesday about her concerns on Bill 207<\/a>.
