This clause gave pharmacists an opt-out for providing services and medicines that are contrary to their &#8220;religious and moral beliefs&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>However, the regulator adopted new standards in May \u2013 called the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pharmacyregulation.org\/sites\/default\/files\/standards_for_pharmacy_professionals_may_2017_0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> &#8216;standards for pharmacy professionals&#8217;<\/a> \u2013 and pharmacists and employers alike need to think about the implications. . .
