{"id":5956,"date":"2014-08-19T19:19:31","date_gmt":"2014-08-20T02:19:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.consciencelaws.org\/?p=5956"},"modified":"2018-03-05T11:35:59","modified_gmt":"2018-03-05T19:35:59","slug":"abortion-group-targets-pro-life-doctors-nurses-with-new-website-new-zealand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.consciencelaws.org\/?p=5956","title":{"rendered":"Abortion group targets pro-life doctors, nurses with new website: New Zealand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u00a0Lifesite News<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"author\">Michelle Kaufman<\/p>\n<p>Pro-life health practitioners and crisis pregnancy centres in New Zealand are the target of a new website designed to intimidate those who choose not to refer for abortion or prescribe contraception.<\/p>\n<p>The website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mydecision.org.nz\/\">My Decision<\/a>, is created by the Abortion Law Reform Association of New Zealand (ALRANZ).<\/p>\n<p>The site lists health practitioners and crisis pregnancy centres which they believe women should avoid.\u00a0 The incomplete list includes the names of individuals or organizations, the region and town, and whether they are a doctor, nurse or other provider.<\/p>\n<p>Women are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scoop.co.nz\/stories\/PO1408\/S00261\/new-website-lists-doctors-who-oppose-contraception.htm\"> asked to submit<\/a> their stories\u00a0of &#8220;hostile or unhelpful health professionals.&#8221;\u00a0 The stories are non-identifying and can be edited for length or clarity.\u00a0 At the time of writing only two stories had been posted.
