none will be allowed to vote according to conscience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;Conscience objection doesn\u2019t absolve people from responsibility,&#8221; he said, saying members would be expected &#8220;to act and vote in accordance with the decisions of the party.&#8221;\u00a0 [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejournal.ie\/fine-gael-whipped-vote-abortion-891816-May2013\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Journal<\/em><\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0proposed law is a response to world-wide controversy over the death of a woman at a hospital in Galway in October, 2012.\u00a0 (See <a title=\"A \u201cmedical misadventure\u201d in Ireland\" href=\"http:\/\/consciencelaws.org\/blog\/?p=2714\" target=\"_blank\"><em>A &#8220;medical misadventure&#8221;
