This freedom underlies other significant parts of the charter, namely the right to bodily autonomy and equality, or sections <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/csj-sjc\/rfc-dlc\/ccrf-ccdl\/check\/art7.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">seven<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/csj-sjc\/rfc-dlc\/ccrf-ccdl\/check\/art15.html#:~:text=15.,or%20mental%20or%20physical%20disability.\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">15<\/a>, respectively.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Who would want to live in a place where we couldn\u2019t make personal decisions about our own bodies, decisions that our own consciences support? Say you want to abort an embryo or fetus growing inside you\u2014that\u2019s your right. Or say you have a terminal illness or awful quality of life, and you want to die on your own terms.
