Erin O\u2019Toole\u2019s Conservatives won\u2019t say whether their plan to extend \u2018conscience rights\u2019 to doctors, nurses and health-care providers will permit denying care to LGBTQ people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O\u2019Toole was hammered on the campaign trail on Thursday over a line in his platform which pledges that his hypothetical future government will \u201cprotect the conscience rights of healthcare professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
