An overwhelming majority of Tasmania’s House of Assembly MPs have voted to pass Voluntary Assisted Dying legislation, putting the state on the precipice of introducing the historic laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MPs voted 16 to 6 in favour of the legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The End of Life Choices Bill’s already passed the state’s Legislative Council<\/a> after being introduced there by Independent MLC Mike Gaffney last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
